I have the very priviledge to host Chinese New Year reunion dinner at our place with four other Singaporean souls in Invers so our menu goes like this
Chicken rice ( I've got the chicken rice paste and chilli sauce from Akld)
Satay
Hot pot- which isn't that all fancy but hey! its the best we can have - it has cabbage, tofu, won tons, vermicilli (or how do you spell that?), pak choy. Thats all? I think so.
Looks quite little for 6 hungry and desperate Singaporeans ay.
Maybe i should sacrifice my peanut pancake thingy for dessert and ask my parents to send some over again.
So please help me! I'm tasked to prepare Hainanese Chicken rice and make the wontons (how cool. can't buy wontons but can make them as I've bought wonton skins!!)
Or maybe yous can help me with desserts like pineapple tarts? or love letters? Easy ones please.

When I left Auckland for Invercargill, I made sure I bought my "first aid kit" with me. It contains the following...... (Hey, most of them were imported from Majulah Singapura. Cool ay)
This is so cool! I haven tried it yet as i only got one pack with me (although my parents can send it over from Auckland). I told Weizhong its only in a desperado mode then we can touch all these food....

Yay! Internet is finally back up and running in Invers.

Pretty cool view from our stay in Queenstown. Will want to come back in winter again and see what it looks like. Most ppl say it paints a different picture in winter.

Took a drive to towns neighbouring Queenstown. Took the scenic route and found oursevles driving in between towering mountains

Watched Avatar twice- 3D and without 3D.
Not going to Lady GaGa concert. both decided that it is quite costly to fly up to Auckland for $550 for just the weekend and to go for the concert
Kinda ready to go, abit scary. driving down all the way to Invercargill. Takes us two days to reach home. This road trip will have us see the whole of NZ.
2010- New life begins.

Blogging from Invercargill now. Spent my Christmas at Queenstown and New Year's in Invercargill. Sunny today (FINALLY!!!) so did all our washing.
Been busy getting whiteware, furnitures and misc (neccessary misc??). Will be going back to Auckland on Monday, work for 1.5 weeks and then pack everything and come down to Ingill with the dogs!!!
Will upload pictures when i get back to akld.
