second time to Taupo but this time, we visited the prawn park

Thats how we spend our holiday and weekend....

We went to the bark in the park on sunday. lots of doggies manz... fun! had a 2.5 km walk... cool ass!
and we had a free photo shot!
today, we went to animates pet shop as they have "look a like competition" and "best dressed".
I got Zac to put on his All Blacks Jersey and Baxter to put on his all blacks tee shirt and zac did his face paint... i tot i was hard out enuff but was so wrong.... this young chap with his american bull dog won.
He dressed his bull dog in a soccer jersey exactly like his. with shorts and shin pads... hahahah

caught the cold due to a sudden change in weather. we woke up to a freezing 7 degrees morning for the last two days and i was wearing t shirts and shorts. How well prepared...!

watch Horton hears a who today. quite ok but it does bring a strong msg across: a person is a person, no matter how small. :)

going away the coming weekend. heading down to Taupo....(:

The two weeks term break is here! hooray! thats the "+" of being a student.

Have not really planned what im going to do during the holidays but the first day, Zac and i will be off to the movies- to watch Horton Hears a Who!

and i have subconsciously come up with a TO BUY WISH list.

- my long awaited Huffer Jumper ( still thinking hard cos its really ex and its just a brand thing)
- a thick jumper cum raincoat type from Kathmandu

yeah! thats basically it. quite a short list ay...
the "-" of being a student... u have to save up to buy stuffs whereas if working... u can just swipe.... sighz...

went to this "Meleka cafe" at Royal oak for lunch. Saw michelle's auntie and she gave us this thing that she made herself.... taste the same but not use to the colours.... i prefer the colourful layers...and my fav pic....
and im posted to cascades kindergarten for my 4 wk practicum.. sigh.. why not a childcare? wanted to try looking after babies....

meeting ex colleagues for dinner today. went to main campus to pass time since i am early. so weird being amongst all the students. bring back memories when i was over here as an undergrad student. although im still a student lah.. but am based in another campus where everyone is training to be a teacher.....

:) life is so unpredictable....

instead of working on my essay to be handed up tomorrow, i chatted with Matt LEE.

yesterday dinner, dad told us to think over!

He is intending to make a trip to the USA to disneyland with Zac and wants the whole family to go BUT he will only fork out $xxxx amount and the rest are on us... *Faintz*. The conclusion of that talk was USA was too far, too ex and disneyland! HK also got what... so we thought that HK wud be a better destination. and the trip is in DEC! which means that i have to decide whether to go or not? :( i can't go both cos my bank account is not very supportive in that sense and we intend to go back to Singapore next year end to have the most mini wedding dinner that holds like 2 tables! haha. its the marriage not the symbolic function/show/dinner whatever it is that matters. ANYWAY!
i dunno what to do...

just came back from Walk thru the Bible- Old Testament seminar. was really good!! relaxing and might have a nap before i look at readings and head on to the next assignment due on wed!
Daylight savings end today and have to wind our clocks back an hour... yeep! gain an hour of sleep!!!

its April! how time flies. i remeber the days when i started applying for this graduate course and now! im half way through! i rem the days in dec when we met hl, sampo and ah zhang in aussie and had a hell lot of fun time. one thing that i rem was when we we planning our itineary, we did not include the helicopted ride over the 12 apstls but when we were on the bus, we got psycho-ed and paid the additional to get on the helicopter. it was worth it! priceless and we got an amazing self portrait of Mingli as well!
i remember the hot dry summer weather in Jan and Feb and how we always had bbq for dinner. but now as autumn sets in, the wet, muggy weather dampening our moods and make it harder to get out of bed. the sun rises much later. What will happen when winter comes! when we are all wrapped out like hum chee peang.

* i just had mcdonalds fries. sometimes junk food is just so yummy esp when u haven't had them for quite a while.*

Wz will be graduating this may and move into full time emp. i will finish my course at the end of this years and face young children (for the rest of my life??)

and this year!!!!!!!! we are visiting south island of New zealand. this had to come true.. no longer a dream: we had to swim with dolphins, erm.... check out the "beauty" of sperm whales, experience farm stay and take llamas for a walk.. and go to milford sound.... Awww... c'mon!!! pls let time fly quicker...
