hot, hot, hot!

WORK:
good thing that monday is almost over. erika has left for her big OE and its me alone (with help of Kristy and Anna (occasionally) doing retail loans... it good stead in the first part of the day, not many deals coming through and i took time sorting the pending/conditionally approval deals... but when lunch time approaches, its near madness... deals kept coming through , calls from retailers were neverending, with all sorts of funny questions... went for lunch time punctually, had a "kiwi" lunch- hot pie and a drink... went to Moneyworld to change SIN dollars into NZ dollars. came back satisfied, with the mince and cheese still tasting tasty in my mouth.... near 3.30 , its hell again... i left work at 5 with 5 deals yet to push through. hand them over to Anna. have volunteered to work this sat as the Andrew and Adam are having uni exams and can't turn up for work.... like working on sat. cos its quiet, u can wear causally and there's not one to fight the printer and fax machine with u...

Relatives/ Family:
had my cousin and his wife up at our place. they were at Botany and were on their way, so came over to visit my grandmother. had a nice talk/laugh with them... its nice to have a cousin here, same age etc. they got married almost the same time as us so that Michelle can get her PR. and its funny how Michelle relate to my uncle. they are all staying together and its really funny how they get along as Michelle is very sociable and she talks to everyone like they are her friends of her age....

my crazy brother went out to the backyard after dinner and cos it was so hot, i went outside and join him... and bcos he is such an idiot who only stays in his room (on a sat, he goes down to the lounge/dining area only for meals, besides that, you won't know if he is alive or dead- always keep himself in his room and play comp games- useless arse!), this is his very first time out into the backyard... he was walking to the back of the garage and was so excited cos he hasn't "seen" that area before that he knock himself onto the metal clothes hanger. it was a huge knock and i cracked up laughing... he blardy hell deserve it man!

zac's bdae is coming soon, well 29th Nov and tot of arranging a bdae party for him so that he cud invite his friends... spending money again... have to go get a quote before i compromise on anything....

a real mini choc factory... ran there with lots of excitement..




racing car that we set.. fastest time for a lap was 13.58s. was arguing with wz as well, cos he went so fast and i tot my life would end just like this.... *im scared- thats all*



4WD that we got on.... 2 major obstacles, the first one was taken by me. have to plunge down this mini step( bout4-5 steps of height) into the water.. hell, was shock went the guide told us to get down and show us wat to down... have to completely let go of brakes and stuffs..






wz was the driver for this obstacle... was terrified when the guide showed us the steepness of this one... had to go hard on foot brakes and i had to pull the had brake as well... but it was fun.. the car just "drop" down and within seconds, we are at the bottom alr..

so thats the pictures (have many other random pics tho) of the trip we made down south of NZ.... it was a really nice time away with wz. really enjoyed the time there. It was relaxing and fun as well. a really different place from Auckland. Rotorua is just a small town, with not much shopping (haha.. i was on a lookout of those shops that i usually attack, but not in sight tho), a small town that has sulphur diffused all over, has lots of Maori and very little Asians. just so different.... guess it would be really hard if u were raised in a city and then decide to stay in a small town just like that.... i would commit suicide man! but wz likes it.... *dong*

the Zorb.... have to go inside this huge ball... u get to choose either hydro, where they filled it with water, or u can choose the harness one....


and then roll down.....




On the gondola, on the way up to have our turns on the LUGE... .... which looks like....



THIS!! this is really fun. the luge goes down the tracks on the hill at a super fast (but controllable ) speed.... SWEET!!!


me on the luge.... i was so afraid that it would be scary cos zac (he came to Rotorua a yr ago, with my bro and his gf) and he was saying how fun and scary.... so i was very cautious and i took the basic (scenic) track for the first ride.... hoho


and for the second round, i choose the intermediate one while wz went for the advance one....but it was turning dark so we only had two rounds....



and boy! the safety helmet..... smells horrible.. gosh..... can't stand it sia!


from my second round... wz came from the advance one.. must be really steep, thus he reached the end point faster... and has time to capture a pic.. :)

presenting to you.... the fat bong bongs....

that was a picture of the resort that we stay in for two nights. it was simply in excellent condition (except for the hairdryer that is not working).... we left Auckland on sat at 7am and reached Rotorua at 11 ish. had a few stopovers at petrol kiosk to go wee and get sth to bite...


the SPA!!! was really excited to check the spa out, so after a quick look at the room cum kitchen ... i went straight into the bathroom and check this thing out... NICE!






when its filled with water and the power is not on yet



when the power is on... its really strong .... and we were afriad that it would hurt... so we curled ourselves out and put our hand on the on-off button just in case... but no.. it was SHIOK!



just relaxing.....




enuff of the indoor spa in our room.... we went for lunch at Mac and then head on to the polynesian spa... the natural one now.... with that stinking smell and natural heat ...

one of the pools overlooking Rotorua lake... if im not wrong, this pool is 41 degree C hot....


went for Maori traditional dinner..... the Maori are the indigenous ppl of NZ... the trad'l way of cooking a hangi( Maori meal) is underground..... amazing....



that is one of their crafts...

the next day, we head on to look at geysers, craters, boiling mud pools and this place is sulphur smelling.... real bad smell...

if u can see... she has "erupted"(behind me)... "throwing out water to say two person combined height"... first time seeing geysers.....










thats one of the many craters within the park..... and they have steam coming out as well.... sighz.. too bad i forgot all my geog stuffs... wonder wat are they manz... i mean... craters, boiling mud pool, the sulphur smell etc...




and i was so freaking excited when i saw this sign... its where we stay.. i mean the street name... "waikaremoana"... forgot what that means in english tho... its a maori term... i think its river sth....

came back yesterday from Rotorua.... spend three wonderful, relaxing days over there..... wanted to upload the pics but can't do that...
Susan: the way via the photobucket, by the time i add all the links... the page has already expire and i always have to do the word verification thing.... HUMPZ.... gave up trying.. will upload when i can, or if not maybe i will try to do another blog... hahah..... *tried the whole morning alr, back aching like sia manz*
will go take shower and go prepare... have not buy wz's present and cake.... yay! today is his birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
