The parachute concert at Mystery Creek- Hamilton.
It was a superbly HOT day. We arrived at about 9ish and were sitting behind The concert at night...
Us.... due to me being really silly, i applied sunblock all over arms, face and kept applying them and FORGOT my neck area.. it that was COOKED , maybe over cooked!
My cousin and his wife Michelle and us.
A good short one day trip. Will definatley go for the 09 Parachute concert again.

Tmr is my last day relieving at Peter Pan childcare... :(

The colour pens arrived! i missed using them... and now i've got a whole box! it came this morning - was thinking boy thats a big bag for a few pens.. open the bag up and there u go a box of colour pens! Really did not expect a whole box coz i only asked her to choose a few colours...

the weather is so HOT not cool.

School starting on Monday... *nervous*

i had this cut on my finger ( the pointer) . tiny cut but my whole finger has swell up... wonder why and it hurts big time.

we had BBQ for dinner! the first bbq for year 2008... *pictures abit dark lah cos sun still blazing strong*

1) i came back after driving wz to work to a flooded garage! apparently i forgot to unplug the stopper before leaving and so the garage was flooded!! wet wet wet!!!

2) i lost my ring! totally lost it. no where to be found... i normally take it out when i do washing or house work... and this time i've looked all over the house, up, down , left and right... no where!

3) Sir Edmund Hillary died yesterday. He was a climber and the first to reached the summit of mt everest. And he is the icon in our $5 note....

4) i haven been breathing thru my nose for AGES man... i nose is 24/7 Blocked!

5) bored!

6) went to buy a cup of pearly milk tea- how refreshing...

7) watched death at a funeral yesterday nite. Hilarious. Zac requested it so he paid for my tickets but apparently its ADULT movie.... so good on zac!

I've already warned her... that her wisdom levels( intellectual levels) will drop to rock bottom if she has her wisdom teeth removed but she went ahead with it. and there u go! a lady without wisdom (teeth), bored at home, and even wants to go all the way to town just to get milkshake... how lame! Anyway, thats Sampo! ( aka Janelle, officially known as Kuah Xinying)She started drawing....Kept drawing and ask me to draw sth.. so i gave her my cool butterfly with light blue dots.She then suggested that we draw mushroom.... i think mine's nicer... and thats her ugly butterfly....

There u go... she cannot forget mingli taking photo of himself and the flies on his face....

having off day tmr- going to town to have lunch with some of my ex colleagues....

new shop in botany hub- noodles canteen. noodles in a box kind.... tried that on sat... o.k

opted to have dinner out today. we went to our fav taiwanese eating place... was missing them so badly has they were closed during the xmas/new year period.
had fried chicken filiets with garlic flavour on rice, a bowl of jiao zi with beef soup and a cup of pearl milk tea... how satisfying... sitting on the next table was this couple... the guy is so boring... wonder how his gf can TAHAN him...

Yesterday came home 100% exhausted. My first day back at childcare after two weeks break! Whoz..... head spinning, body aching.... what made yesterday terrible cos 1 year plus Shawn did his BIG load of POO POO! it apparently flooded his nappy and flow over to his legs.... HOW PERFECT! lucky me saw it and have to clean up the mess. STINK!
Today wasnt too bad, just a few tired children by mid-day which make them cry and scream more often....
Really have to salute those who have been doing these for years.
It isn't like what ppl will react to when you say lawyer, Chartered accountant, managing director etc, it isnt like what office ppl do at work- go in, log on to pc and start working on the same old stuff, it is totally different for what i've been doing for the past three years.

Childcare teaching is different. i get dirty every day- sit on the sand, on the floor,everywhere. i clean and wipe poos... so i get to see what colour poos they make!!! i do not hear my boss grumble or go for meetings, instead i hear babies and children cry, laugh, smile. i do not shake hands with clients or colleagues, i get hugs from children. i do not get to go have fancy lunch in town with colleagues, instead i pack lunch and ive been having sandwich, muesli bar and a fruit for the past two days....i bear heavier responsbility as the well being and safety of the children are in our hands.

Is this what i really want to do....?? * hope so*

Saturday 5-01-2008 Weather: Cloudy
Neighbour's dog was barking the whole night yesterday... Terrible. Actually i was waken by my dad complaining to the bark control lady over the phonerather than the barking of the dog... sighz...
I made muffins today- triple choc muffins.... And i've got a sudden urge to get a new desktop computer... i was using Alwyn's comp just now- he has windows vista installed... damn.... so cool.. and my laptop is like 7 years old already!!!! The laptop that i got fm work which cost me $300 has died- the hard drive passed away and i dun think its worth fixing at all....
Save money, save money...we want to make it for the trip this year end with Hl, Sampo and Mingli... save, save....
work starts monday.... *they have yet to pay me for the two days work i did before christmas.. SH*T.*

Its summer! weather is supa hot! due to start work next week. have been kinda enjoying my slacking days. went shopping yesterday-used up the vouchers FAI gave me for my leaving gift. bought a bra, a knitted vest ( i know its summer.. buy it for winter mah... cheap cheap, only $19.95), pair of 3/4s and sun block lotion. Watched Alvin and the chipmunks yesterday.

those are the cute little buddies! aint' they adorable. reading this wun make u feel excited but if you are there watching them, walking along side by side and hearing them coo... it will AROUSE you like anything, nothing can suppress the feeling of HIGHNESS. not even after u've been home..... Sampo has been attacked by that HIGHNESS till now and i wonder how long her slim body can take that....* wishing her speedy recovery*

Mingli wasn't born with a mole on his forhead. its a FLY! i think he uses a fruit scented face cream cos the flies in Melb seem to like to rest on his face .

2008: hope 2008 will end with sweet memories like 2007. We are planning another trip, this time hopefully to New Zealand ( South) Saving gear switched on. We shall meet again this year end!

Also, my one year course.... i hope the kids will be as cool as ever instead of being little devils...

and... this isn't my goal really but its Sampo's. she promised to send me colour pens.. the ones we used when we're studying in NUS.... so.... i dunno if they'll arrived anot.... But no pressure, Sampo... really.. no Pressure! *winkz*

Hey! not too greedy. just two goals for 2008. IM SO GOING TO REALISED THIS TWO .5 GOALS!!! ( the 0.5 one is the pens from sampo)
