We made flower out of harakeke(flax leaves) today. Maori customs, and harakeke leaves are used to weave baskets, kete bags etc....
" Traditionally when harakeke leaves were removed from the plant, only the older leaves on the outside were taken. It is believed the three inner layers of the plant represented a family. This outer layer represented the grandparents, whereas the inner layer of new shoots or the child remained to be protected by the next inner layer of leaves, the parents"
Anyway, LOOK AT IT! its good stuff... haha..

When i was a lender at FAI, my GM would often gave a cynical comment to Broadlands finance as they write 3rd tier loans, loans that we reject, and she would often predict its fall during the financial crunch experienced since last year.
However, i just read on Chrislee.co.nz - financial anaylst website that Broadlands finance has made a whooping $1.2 mil or $12 mil (either or.. could not remember exactly) and Hanover (parent of FAI) has declared a freeze on withdrawals of principal and interest and investments (moratorium) to prevent going into liquidation.
Sighz.. retribution lah! always laugh at people, but now they make profit and Hanover make headlines....
What an irony!

Let me let you guys in on sth. Zac got a Grays Hockey stick in Singaporefor $300ish at that place that sells sports stuff. And a few weeks ago, the end of the stick was chip. They bought it to Just Hockey and ask if they cud fix it back but the guy said to send it to Grays as it is a manufacturing problem but since we bought it from Singapore... then not very fun. So MY DAD tot of this horrible idea. He went to Rebel Sport and BLUFF them that he got the hockey stick from them and asked for a refund. and the VERY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE at Rebel agreed!!!!! so they exchanged the hockey stick and zac got another brand new one!!!
No receipt, no proof-- sticks exchanged! just like that!
