has been a really eventful week i must say... on wed, we had the most shocking last minute "meeting". At 4.45 ( 15 more mins to knock off time), mel, my immediate lao pan send out emails to her team saying that she will switch all phone lines to night mode as Da lao pan (General manager) wants to hold a meeting in 5 mins time. as we read the email, Aubrey and i were like shocked as to why a sudden "urgent" meeting... something smell BAD.... and so all of us gathered and the BAD news is three colleagues have been proposed to be retrenched. In NZ, a proposal has to be served and those affected will then come back to either accept it or "argue" why they should stay on. (human rights kind of thing lah). SHOCKING ay! they are James, Darlene, and Andrew. Am quite close to James and Darlene as they are the account managers for our retail stores....

OH YA!!!
this part is for one of my bestest fren- Candice ...(Leong)
my class mate during sec 1 and 2 and then my school mate when i was in Sec 3 and 4 but still we are in THE GROUP... we hang out together and go home together as well as we are the only two out of five that have the PRIVILEGE to take a train back home after school. Susan, Qiuyan and Kerk are Yishun-ers and Cand and I were the Admiralters. so there we are, after school, catching bus 811(?), psychoing Susan to go Northpoint to hand out or have a quick meal at LJS but Susan being Susan -GOES STRAIGHT HOME AFTER SCHOOL!!!! HOW FUN!! (haha) so after many failed attempts, we go home after school as well and start preparing of our O's. The nightmarish O papers came and go, all of us pretty much went to different schools/tertiary institutions. Kerk went all the way back to Tampines! during those times, we still have lots of gp up and downs .we came together, we "lost touch" and came back together again.
Despite all of the ups and downs we had over the past10-14 years we know each other (And im pretty sure the other 4 ladies will agree with me), we are still THE GROUP- the love and respect we hold for each other are as strong as ever.
okay.. im beginning to side track.. heheh.. CANDICE ...(leong) (sorry ah.. i dunno what ur married last name is leh...) is about to give birth to her very first child- Jaeden. hope that baby J will come out with real speed so that labour pain is not unbearable.
May Candice and Wei Song be the best role models for J as he grows up. May he grow up to be a fine boy/teenage guy that will make Candice and Wei Song so proud of.May Candice and Wei Song be blessed with the finest parenting skills to nurture and bring up Jaeden. :) :) :) :)
