yay.... 1st part of the pictures.... hoho
that was a picture of the resort that we stay in for two nights. it was simply in excellent condition (except for the hairdryer that is not working).... we left Auckland on sat at 7am and reached Rotorua at 11 ish. had a few stopovers at petrol kiosk to go wee and get sth to bite...
the SPA!!! was really excited to check the spa out, so after a quick look at the room cum kitchen ... i went straight into the bathroom and check this thing out... NICE!
when its filled with water and the power is not on yet
when the power is on... its really strong .... and we were afriad that it would hurt... so we curled ourselves out and put our hand on the on-off button just in case... but no.. it was SHIOK!
just relaxing.....
enuff of the indoor spa in our room.... we went for lunch at Mac and then head on to the polynesian spa... the natural one now.... with that stinking smell and natural heat ...
one of the pools overlooking Rotorua lake... if im not wrong, this pool is 41 degree C hot....
went for Maori traditional dinner..... the Maori are the indigenous ppl of NZ... the trad'l way of cooking a hangi( Maori meal) is underground..... amazing....
that is one of their crafts...
the next day, we head on to look at geysers, craters, boiling mud pools and this place is sulphur smelling.... real bad smell...

if u can see... she has "erupted"(behind me)... "throwing out water to say two person combined height"... first time seeing geysers.....
thats one of the many craters within the park..... and they have steam coming out as well.... sighz.. too bad i forgot all my geog stuffs... wonder wat are they manz... i mean... craters, boiling mud pool, the sulphur smell etc...
and i was so freaking excited when i saw this sign... its where we stay.. i mean the street name... "waikaremoana"... forgot what that means in english tho... its a maori term... i think its river sth....
